Matt Paints

Hi, my name is Matt Hersh. I graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering degree in 2016 and have been working as an engineer since. When I was growing up, I always enjoyed being creative and I found myself using that skillset in my schooling and at work. Outside of that, I found a passion for creating artwork, specifically paintings. I find it fun and motivating to share my artwork with others. Therefore, I have been continuing my hobby through this business.

All my paintings are on a canvas board using acrylic paints. Most are 11x14 inches. My typical painting style is considered 'realistic and impressionistic'. This means I enjoy capturing the lighting, the mood, and the feeling of a real place in nature using a combination of relaxed and precise brushstrokes.

1. Purchasing a print. This is a high quality printed copy on thick matte paper. It looks identical to the original painting. Typically, prints are bought from the gallery. Price per print is $40.
2. Purchasing an original painting. Original paintings can be purchased based on a specific picture/photo either you or I provide and we both agree upon. Price per original painting starts at $250.
